Spartanburg Methodist enters the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, Colo., as the top-ranked team in the organization's poll.
The Pioneeers play No. 7 Walters State in the first round. The teams split a doubleheader in Spartanburg earlier this season.
SMC's men's basketball team also entered the playoffs as the top-ranked team in the NJCAA.
