Former MLB star Gary Carter, now coach at Palm Beach Atlantic, has been diagnosed as having four brain tumors. There was no report on whether the tumors were malignant or benign. Carter's team played against USC Beaufort and North Greenville this season.

CollegeBaseballDaily.com reports a reporter at a Tennessee radio station is reporting Todd Raleigh will be out as Tennessee's coach on Sunday. The Vols have not reached the SEC Tournament in Raleigh's four seasons in Knoxville.
