Hussion moving up
Chuck Hussion is giving up his duties as voice of Furman athletics after 17 years to accept a general manager position with the company marketing Furman and Wofford broadcasts. Hussion's tenure will end with the end of Furman's baseball season.
Smart players honored
USC's Michael Roth and College of Charleston's Matt Leeds were first-team selections for the Capital One College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-American team for the University division. Clemson's Phil Pohl was a third-team selection.
