Dan Scott, a regular on Clemson's radio baseball broadcasts the last
several years, is moving to Furman to replace Chuck Hussion as voice of the Paladins for football, basketball and, hopefully, baseball.
Blue Hose honored
Presbyterian's Tony Micklon was named to the Coastal Plains League's all-star game, while Blue Hose teammate Brad Zebedis won the home run-hitting contest as part of the Valley League's all-star game.
USC recruit picked
South Carolina recruit Corey Seager has been selected to play in the Perfect Game USA All-American Classic Aug. 14 in San Diego.
