I attended Furman's Upstate Diamond Classic Fundraiser Wednesday night, with Cincinnati Reds broadcaster Marty Brennaman the featured speaker. It was a great event and there will be a story in Thursday's Greenville News and at greenvilleonline.com.

Former major leaguers and upstate residents Alvin Dark and Bobby Bolin were there. Dark turned 90 last month!
