Six state players, including three from the University of South Carolina, are among the 50 players on the preseason watch list for the Golden Spikes Award presented annually to the best amateur baseball player in the country.
South Carolina's Matt Price, Michael Roth and Christian Walker are joined by Clemson's Richie Shaffer, College of Charleston's Daniel Aldrich and Presbyterian's Brad Zebedis.
