PSB: After what you saw in fall workouts, what are your team's prospects for the 2013 season?
KT: Looks like we have potential to have a very deep pitching staff which translates maybe into a potentially good ball club.
PSB: What are your biggest areas of concern entering the 2013 season?
KT: We may be a slightly different type of offensive team than in some of the past years, maybe more of a manufacturing type offense. With several pitchers that can be contributors, we have to make sure and develop their role on the staff.
PSB: In what areas does your team appear to be improved from the 2012 season?
KT: Much better pitching, and better defensively. Pretty deep in several areas.
Based on fall workouts, which returnees from 2012 (including redshirts) look best prepared to play a bigger role in 2013?
KT: Bryce Baur (OF), Ty Barkell (1B), Bill Gerstenslager (DH), Josh Miller (C), Jake Padgett (RHP, Taylor Grover (RHP).
PSB: Based on fall workouts, which newcomers are most likely to contend for major roles in 2013?
KT: Sean Miller (SS), Ryan Metzler (2B), Caleb Smith (LHP.
