Division II finals to remain in Cary
The NCAA has announced that the NCAA Division II College World Series will be played in Cary, N.C., through at least 2015. The would make at least seven consecutive years for the event to be held at the USA National Training Complex. Conference Carolinas member Mount Olive serves as host school for the event.

Top 100 resumes
After a break of almost a month because of computer issues, CollegeBaseballDaily.com has resumed its countdown of the top 100 college players entering the 2013 season.

Schedule news
* Kent State, which made a Cinderella run to the College World Series in 2012, makes two trips to North Carolina in 2013. The Flashes will play Virginia Tech and UNC Wilmington twice each in Wilmington to open the season, then visit UNC Charlotte for three games a few weeks later.
