The answers are provided by USCL head coach Steve Williams
PSB: After what you saw in fall workouts, what are your team's prospects for the 2013 season?
SW: We liked what we saw in that we seem to have some depth this year, in the field and on the bump.
PSB: What are your biggest areas of concern entering the 2013 season?
SW: That injured pitchers recover and the freshmen pitchers figure “it” out!
PSB: In what areas does your team appear to be improved from the 2012 season?
SW: Last spring we were working with 11 arms, right now we have 20.
PSB: Based on fall workouts, which returnees from 2012 (including redshirts) look best prepared to play a bigger role in 2013?
SW: There are too many to really spotlight, we just felt like we needed to develop more overall depth.
PSB: Based on fall workouts, which newcomers are most likely to contend for major roles in 2013?
SW: Again, at the junior college level things change so quickly, with grades and a month away from your student-athletes, until they experience a 56-game schedule they have a hard time comprehending what is in front of them.
