FSU player suffers skydiving injury

Florida State senior Stephen Spradling suffered serious injuries in a skydiving accident on Sunday, Seminoles assistant coach Mike Martin Jr. told The Tallahassee Democrat. Martin said the injuries are likely career-ending, but that Spradling may be able to walk again. He hit .262 in 42 at-bats as a junior last season.

This is a terrible experience for Stephen Spradling! I know he’s suffering from a lot of pain and trauma, and it’ll definitely take him time to overcome it. I wish for his fast recovery and that he’ll be able to play baseball again in the future. It’ll probably be heartbreaking for him if he can’t play again.
