Saints sign 17
Limestone has announced the signing of 17 players, including 10 from South Carolina, for its 2014 recruiting class. South Carolinians are right-handed pitchers Robert Talton (Lexington/Airport HS), Brayden Carnes (Great Falls), and Austin Lanier (Easley/Pickens HS) and catchers Kolby Croxton (Ruby/Chesterfield HS) and Skylar Elliot (Abbeville). Infielder Grayson Snipes (Lancaster),  infielder/pitcher Zachary Byer (Travelers Rest/Blue Ridge HS) and outfielder Ian Hinson, first  baseman Troy Rawls  and infielder Colby Robbins of South Pointe High in Rock Hill.

Do they play in wooden shoes?
Former Clemson star Spencer Kieboom is on the roster for The Netherlands for the World Baseball Classic later this year. Also on the roster are Major Leaguers Andruw Jones, Jair Jurrjens and Andrelton Simmons.
