Palmetto State Baseball team of the week, April 8-14: Presbyterian

Presbyterian (went 4-0)
(won at Wofford; went 3-0 at USC Upstate)

Presbyterian has inserted itself in the Big South Conference race by sweeping its last two series. The Blue Hose (18-18 overall, 10-5 conference) used a weekend sweep of USC Upstate to pull within two games of first-place Campbell. PC and Winthrop are tied for second place.

Coach Elton Pollock's Blue Hose have the program's first seven-game winning streak since the first month of the 2013 season.

The middle game of the streak was a  10-inning 7-6 victory at Wofford on Tuesday to complete a three-game series sweep of the Terriers - all by one run.
