Jordan Marks struck out 10 in eight innings as USC Upstate win Game 1 against Longwood. Robby McGaha had three hits and drove in three runs as the Spartans completed the sweep ... North Greenville needed late heroics from Jax Cash and Brady West to win Game 1, then clubbed Barton in the nightcap ... Top-seeded Catawba scored seven first-inning runs and cruised past Coker, sending the Cobras into the elimination bracket of the SAC Tournament. Newberry lost to Wingate and will face Catawba on Saturday ... John Dempsey had four hits and drove in four runs in Wofford's split with VMI ... Harrison Hawkins had three hits and a steal as College of Charleston won ... Livan Reinoso singled, doubled, homered and drove in eight runs in Game 2 as Erskine closed Conference Carolinas play with a split ... Grant Bodison had three hits for Columbia International in Game 1 of an Appalachian Athletic Conference split ... Eric Toth got the final out to save Presbyterian's win over Campbell in Big South Conference play ... Marshall Thompson struck out 13 in seven innings as Lander won the opener of a Peach Belt Conference series ... Winthrop used a four-run ninth to take a late lead in Game 2, but Gardner-Webb got a walk-off homer to complete the Big South Conference sweep ...
