UPDATED: Field set for NCCAA World Series

The NCCAA integrates Christian
principles into its athletic endeavors

The full tournament field and pairings for the NCCAA World Series in Upstate South Carolina later this month were posted on the organization's Website Thursday night.

Games will be played at the J.B. "Red" Owens Complex in Easley and at Connor Field in Central May 21-25, with no games on Sunday (May 23).  Competing teams also participate in Christian mission projects during their time in the Upstate

Columbia International is the only South Carolina team in the event, sanctioned by the Greenville-based National Christian College Athletic Association. The Rams qualified with a 10-3 victory over host Toccoa Falls College in the South Regional championship game on Thursday. Toccoa Falls received an at-large bid.

Two five-team pools will be involved in round-robin schedules over the first three days. The top two finishers in each pool advance to the semifinals, with the championship game set for May 25.

CIU is the No. 3 seed and will play No. 6 College of the Ozarks at 10 a.m. Friday, May 21 at the Owens Complex. The Rams meet No. 10 Toccoa Falls at 4 p.m. in Easley later that day. Columbia International plays second-seeded Concordia (Mich.) at 4 p.m. May 22 at Connor Field on the campus of Southern Wesleyan University in Central.  The Rams complete pool play against No. 7 Kansas Christian at 1 p.m. May 24 in Central.

The event has been played in the Upstate since 2018.
