North Greenville won the Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship with a pair of dominant performances.

The Crusaders, knocked into the losers' bracket with a first-round loss to Barton, avenged that setback with a 13-2 victory in Sunday's first game. NGU was even more in control in the second, whipping regular-season champ Mount Olive, 15-1, to earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament.

Coach Landon Powell's squad hit .386 (76-for-197) in five tournament games, scoring 70 runs. The Crusaders had 12 doubles, a triple and 18 home runs.

Conference player of the year John Michael Faile  hit .636 (14-for-22) with 5 homers  and 11 RBIs Conference freshman of the year Pat Monteith chipped in four more homers and hit .429. 

Briefly: Caden Grice was 4-for-4 as Clemson won its sixth straight ACC game and became the first team to sweep Louisville in a three-game ACC series ...  Tanner Steffy and Jared Kirven homered as College of Charleston salvaged Game 3 of a Colonial Athletic Association series ... Cooper Weiss drove in six runs - three with an eighth-inning triple - as Coastal Carolina won the rubber game of the Sun Belt Conference series ...
