Briefly: Kansas Christian eliminated Bob Jones from the National Christian College Athletic regional for independent schools with an 11-10 walkoff win. The Bruins (8-26) took an early 8-1 lead and were leading 8-4 until Kansas Christian scored six runs in the sixth to go ahead by two heading into the seventh - and final scheduled - inning. Rommel Acosta tied the score with a two-run homer, but the Falcons won it with an unearned run in the bottom of the inning to end BJU's inaugural season. Kansas Christian beat Champion Christian later in the day for the right to play host Ecclesia for the championship on Thursday. The regional champion advances to the NCCAA World Series in Upstate South Carolina later this month.
