Tigers play Cardinals in ACC pool play opener

Clemson and Louisville will play at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the opening game of the ACC Tournament at Truist Field in uptown Charlotte.

The Tigers and Cardinals are in the same pool as Georgia Tech and each team will play the other once. The champion of the pool joins the other three pool winners for semifinal matches to set the pairings for Sunday's championship game.

Clemson's game with Georgia Tech is at 7 p.m. Wednesday. If the Tigers win their two pool games, they would remain in Charlotte to play in Saturday's semifinal.
