(beat Western Carolina, Manhattan, Boston College, George Mason)
USC Upstate showed a flair for the late dramatics in going unbeaten for the week. Coach Mike McGuire's team fell behind in every game before rallying. Three of the comebacks came in the eighth inning or later.
First up was a six-run eighth in a 9-3 win over Western Carolina. After a routine (?) 21-7 win over Manhattan, Upstate scored six runs in the bottom of the eighth to beat Boston College, 6-2. Later Saturday, the Spartans went to the bottom of the ninth trailing 1-0 before scoring twice for a walk-off win over George Mason
Upstate may lead the nation in production by Noahs. Noah Rabon is batting .481 with 10 RBIs. Noah Myers checks in at .321 with 12 runs scored and three stolen bases and Noah Sullivan matches the .321 mark. The troika is hitting a composite .373 with 27 runs, 21 RBIs, 5 doubles, 3 triples, 3 home runs and 5 stolen bases.
Up next for the Spartans: A Tuesday visit to unbeaten Clemson.
