Sizzlin'

* Anderson - two walk-off wins during a 3-0 start; staff ERA of 1.04.

* Francis Marion - batting .402 with 41 runs scored in three games; a 1.00 ERA with 28 strikeouts in 27 innings.

* Newberry - Lots of average statistics as a team, but a 3-0 start trumps everything else.

* USC Sumter - Some new faces are making major contributions so far.

Shiverin'

* Coker  -  Three games against 2021 national champ Wingate made for a tough opening week.

* Columbia International - A 1-6 record has come against NAIA Top 8 competition.

* Limestone - So far the Saints haven't shown much pop.

* USC Salkehatchie - The Indians are six games in and have yet to have been in the lead.

* Voorhees - Home field hasn't been much help in an 0-4 start.
