FIorence-Darlington ended a superb 2021 season with a trip to the NJCAA College World Series. Coach Preston McDonald's squad is putting Region 10 opponents on notice that another trip to GFrand Junction, Colo., is on the to-do list.
A weekend sweep of USC-Salkehatchie to open region play capped a 6-0 week and pushed Tech;'s winning streak to 12 games.
McDonald challenged his club with some difficult nonregion opponents and has played mix-and-match to give lots of players experience. Their play of late indicates that strategy is paying
Up next for the Stingers: Tuesday at Brunswick CC, followed by a weekend region series at Louisburg.
