SEC offers rules tweaks
In addition the 10-run rule for conference games announced earlier, the Southeastern Conference has made some other changes in an attempt to "elevate the fan experience," according to a Tuesday press release.
There are some minor pitch clock changes and a curfew for the final day of conference series may be waived if the visiting team does not have classes the next day.
The rules are in effect for conference regular-season and tournament games, and the 10-run rule may be used for non-conference home games if the visiting coach approves.
