Spartanburg Methodist coach Tim Wallace picked up his 1,300th career coaching victory Sunday in Game 2 of the Pioneers' doubleheader sweep of USC Salkehatchie. Wallace, in his 32nd season with SMC, has a record of 1,300-488 for a .727 winning percentage. He has taken the Pioneers to the Junior College World Series seven times.
