Voorhees competing in Florida event

Voorhees will be competing an the Tyson Foods HBCU Tournament this weekend in Miami Gardens, Fla.

Paine and Voorhees are joining host Florence Memorial for the event to promote baseball involving Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Games are scheduled to be streamed through HBCU League Pass. I will provide a link when I find one.

There will be several individual awards presented. They are named for some of baseball's best players of African heritage.

Friday

Florida Memorial vs. Paine, 9:30 a.m.

Paine vs. Voorhees, 12:30 p.m.

Florida Memorial vs. Voorhees, 3:30 p.m.

Saturday

Florida Memorial vs. Voorhees, 9:30 a.m.
