Briefly:  Coastal Carolina trailed by eight runs after three innings, but held Georgia State scoreless the rest of the way in winning the Sun Belt Conference play. Chants relievers struck out 15 in seven innings and Ty Dooley had a grand slam as Coastal took the lead with a six-run sixth ... South Carolina scored 11 runs over its final three at-bats to take the rubber game of an SEC series at Mississippi State. The Gamecocks (26-3, 8-1 SEC) had 17 hits, including solo homers from Braylen Wimmer, Gavin Casas and Dylan Brewer for the first three runs of the game ... Clemson pitchers held No. 2 Wake Forest to six hits, but the Demon Deacons escaped Doug Kingsmore Stadium with a series sweep in ACC play. The Tigers (16-13, 2-7 ACC) scored three runs in the ninth and had two runners on base when the game ended ...  Wofford won a pitchers' duel in Game 1, but lashed 13 hits for a lopsided win in Game 2.
