Briefly:  Will Tippett's three-run homer gave South Carolina its first lead of the weekend and the Gamecocks held to to salvage the series finale against Auburn ... Nick Lucky's third home run of the series forced extra innings and Coastal Carolina scored an unearned run in the 11th to beat Louisiana in the deciding game of their Sun Belt Conference series. The win allowed the Chanticleers to stay alone in first place ... USC Upstate scored five runs in the first inning and lashed 17 hits to take the series-deciding game against Presbyterian ... Wofford scored six runs in the first inning en route to a win over High Point ....  Elon scored three unearned runs in the eighth and held on to win the deciding game of a CAA series at College of Charleston ... Justin Byrd's two-run single gave USC Aiken a walk-off win to salvage the series finale and end Lander's seven-game winning streak ...

-  A throwing error on a bunt and a wild pitch allowed the Wolves to scoring the tying and go-ahead runs in the eighth inning and they held on to win the Newberry bracket. They advance to the best-of-three championship series next week in Kodak, Tenn., against Lincoln Memorial.
