* Florence-Darlington Tech 6, Harford 5, 11 innings - Dylan Johnson led off the 11th with a double, Will Dorrell singled him in and the Stingers overtook Harford to move to a second-round game against host Gaston College at 11 a.m. Saturday. FD Tech's first three runs scored on wild pitches, but Harford rallied for a 5-3 lead. Tech tied the score in the sixth and Davis Aiken pitched five shutout innings to keep the score at 5-4. Johnson, Rio Foster and Rom Kellis had three hits apiece.
