Briefly: Clemson scored three runs in the seventh inning and held off Louisville to clinch its fifth straight ACC series win ... Graham Brown threw a runner out at home to end the top of the 10th inning and led off the bottom of the frame with a home run to pull Coastal Carolina even with Appalachian State in their Sun Belt Conference series. Starter Liam Doyle struck out seven in four innings and reliever Teddy Sharkey struck out seven in three ... South Carolina dropped its second consecutive SEC series, getting outplayed by Kentucky for a second straight day ... Henry Proger struck out 10 in eight innings and USC Upstate tightened its hold on second place in the  Big South Conference. Kyle Henington preserved the shutout with a leaping catch at the top of the wall in the ninth inning ... Noah Mitchell and Anthony Badala each had three of The Citadel's 18 hits as the Bulldogs clinched a SoCon series win over VMI ... College of Charleston had four consecutive reach with two out in the ninth, capped by J.T. Marr's two-run pinch single to lift the Cougars to victory. The comeback from a seven-run deficit (15-8) was the largest since CofC began playing Division I baseball in 1991 ... Cameron Gill drove in three runs and Dixon Black, Brice Martinez and Andrew Mannelly added two apiece as Wofford evened its SoCon series with UNCG ... McKinley Erves singled, doubled and homered to drive in four runs as Winthrop clinched a series win at Radford ... Miami held Presbyterian scoreless until the ninth for the second straight game.

NJCAA Region 10 Tournament
* USC Union 8, Louisburg 6
-  Burton Hahn was 5-for-5  and Jaycee Clark and Kris Levensteins had RBI singles in the sixth inning to give the Bantams their margin of victory as they survived an elimination game and won their first-ever region tournament game. Mason Stepp pitched four shutout inning in relief to send USC Union into Sunday's third round. 
* Spartanburg Methodist 10, USC Salkehatchie 0 - Ethan Wilson drove in three runs as the Pioneers advanced to Sunday.
* Gaston College 8, USC Sumter 0 - Capers Molinaroli led off the seventh inning with the Fire Ants' only hit as they fell into a losers bracket game on Sunday against Spartanburg Methodist.
* USC Lancaster 8, Florence-Darlington Tech 5 - The Lancers scored seven runs in the first inning and held on to sent the regular-season champion Stingers into the losers' bracket. USC Lancaster faces Gaston in a meeting of the remaining unbeatens at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Peach Belt Conference Tournament
* USC Aiken 3, Young Harris 2
 - Joel Haney pitched a complete game without allowing an earned run, leading the Pacers into Sunday's championship round of the Young Harris bracket. A seventh-inning sacrifice fly by Jose Hernandez delivered the winning run.
* North Georgia 11, Lander 5 - The Bearcats scored in both the first and second innings, but a five-run second by North Georgia put Lander in too deep a hole.

Conference Carolinas
* Francis Marion 4, UNC Pembroke 2 -
Will Hardee doubled twice, homered twice and drove in all four runs as the Patriots reached Sunday's championship game. Robbie Jordan struck out six in 5 2/3 innings of two-hit shutout relief. Jordan went eight innings in FMU's Wednesday victory to reach the double-elimination portion of the event.
* Francis Marion 15, Barton 8 - Earlier in the day, the Patriots trailed 8-3 after 2 1/2 innings but Jack Hegan and Ben Thornton combined for six innings of shutout relief and FMU roared back to stave off elimination. Charlie Bussey III singled, doubled and homered to drive four runs. Kollin Crepeau singled, tripled and walked to drive in four.
