Cannarella is 4-for-15 with a homer, 4 walks, 3 steals, 6 runs and 3 RBI through three games. He has hit safely in all three games.
South Carolina's Ethan Petry was 0-for-3 with a strikeout for the Stars. He is 1-for-13 with a walk and four strikeouts for the series, which concludes at 6 p.m. today. The American team will play Chinese Taipei in Cary on Friday.
