State players not picked for national team

Clemson's Cam Cannarella and Austin Gordon and South Carolina's Ethan Petry were not on the final roster announced for the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team. All three had participated in a four-game intrasquad series in Cary N.C., this week in an effort to be selected for the team.  Cannarella was 3-for-14 with a homer, 2 steals, 2 RBI,  and 4 runs. Gordon pitched once, going 3 innings, allowing 4 hits  and 2 earned runs with a walk and a strikeouts. Petry was 4-for-14 with 2 runs, 2 RBI, a walk and 4 strikeouts.
