* Angelo State 6, North Greenville 2 - Angelo State took the lead on a squeeze play in the seventh inning and pulled away to send North Greenville into an elimination game on Wednesday.

Justin Harris' two-run single after a walk and two bunt singles in the top of the fifth gave Angelo State a 2-0 lead, but Jalen Vasquez tied the score in the bottom of the inning with his 12th homer of the season.

A bunt single, a sacrifice bunt, a stolen base and a squeeze bunt by JAckson Hardy gave Angelo State the lead.

A Crusaders error in the eighth inning kept the inning alive and Angelo State  scored on as bases -loaded walk and a bases-loaded hit by pitch. A single, a hit-by-pitch and two more sacrifice bunts got Angelo State its final run in the ninth.

North Greenville (50-10) will play Southern New Hampshire at approximately 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, needing a win to keep alive a drive for back-to-back national championships. The day's schedule was adjusted because of possible inclement weather.
