What were you doing Feb. 25? Don't remember? Luckily, my phone can remind me. It was a Sunday, so I went to church.

What's the significance of that date? It's the last time Florence-Darlington Tech lost a game. The Stingers have won 20 straight since then, with half of their 12 NJCAA Region 10 wins coming this week.

FD Tech has won 27 of 28 since starting the season 5-4. Coach Preston McDonald's squad is the only team without a Region 10 loss - although it has played four fewer games that first-place Gaston College.

Unless one or both teams stumble prior to the final week of region play, the regular-season champion is likely to be decided in an April 20-21 series between Tech and Gaston in Gastonia, N.C.before
