Peach Belt sets schedule
The Peach Belt Conference has announced pairings and the schedule for the first weekend of its championship tournament.
A pair of four-team double-elimination tournaments this weekend will determine the two finalists for a best-of-three championship series May 9-11. The higher seeded finalist will be host for the event.
Lander won the regular-season championship and will be joined by Flagler, Georgia Southwestern in a tournament at Dolny Stadium in Greenwood.

Georgia College, coached by former University of South Carolina pitcher Nolan Belcher, will host Augusta, Columbus State and North Georgia in an event at John Kurtz Field in Milledgeville. The Bobcats earned a first-round host role by finishing second in the regular-season standings.
