* Atlantic Coast Conference: Clemson needs one win in its final two games - or have both Florida State and N.C. State lose another game - to wrap up the Atlantic Division title and No. 2 seed for the conference tournament next week in Charlotte.
* Big South Conference: Wins by High Point and Presbyterian eliminated USC Upstate from contention for the regular-season championship, but the Spartans will finish third. Both High Point and PC are 16-6 in the conference with two games left. If the teams tie for first, the Panthers have the tiebreaker. Charleston Southern has a half-game lead over UNC Asheville for the final tournament berth and needs one more win or a Bulldogs loss to clinch. Winthrop can't make the tournament, but is trying to stay out of last place.
* Coastal Athletic Association: College of Charleston moved into first place by a half game by beating Elon while UNCW was losing to Delaware in extra innings. The Cougars can clinch the regular-season championship and top seed for the tournament by doing the same as (or better than) UNCW in the final two games.
* Southeastern Conference: The series-opening loss at Tennessee means South Carolina can finish no higher than seventh in the overall conference standings. Finishing as low as 11th (12 teams go to the tournament) is still a possibility.
* Southern Conference: The loss in the series opener at Samford dealt a blow to Wofford's hopes of finishing fourth in the conference. The Terriers must win their final two game and have Western Carolina lose its final two to VMI. Samford is percentage points ahead of UNCG for first place, and must win its final two games (or one with a rainout) to take the top seed for the conference tournament in Greenville. Otherwise, UNCG will finish first. The Citadel will finish eighth.
* Sun Belt Conference: Coastal Carolina clinched a spot in the conference tournament with a series-opening win over Marshall. Finishing as high as in a tie for fourth is still a possibility
