Jaquez Akins singled in the go-ahead run for the Tigers, who have won six straight ... * NJCAA Region 10: Florence-Darlington Tech (32-8, 17-3) stretched its lead over second-place Gaston College (29-11-1, 12-8) to five games by sweeping USC Lancaster (17-20, 10-10) while the Rhinos were splitting a pair with USC Sumter (22-17, 10-10). The Fire Ants' 11-game winning streak was snapped in Game 1 ... USC Salkehatchie (2-36, 2-18) forced extra innings with two runs in the seventh and got a run in the eighth on an error to end its 24-game losing streak with a walk-off win in Game 1 of a doubleheader split with USC Union (25-13, 9-11). The Bantams took Game 2 to extend the program record for wins in a season.
