* College of Charleston's opening Coastal Athletic Association series against Hofstra Friday-Sunday has been moved from Hempstead, N.Y., to Mount Pleasant because of weather issues. Friday's game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start, with the Saturday and Sunday games scheduled for 1 p.m.
* Fluor Field in Greenville will play host to a pair of games involving state teams against Michigan State this week. Winthrop meets the Spartans at 3 p.m. Tuesday and Clemson makes its only 2026 appearance at the home of the Greenville Drive with a 6 p.m. Wednesday game against Michigan State.
* CORRECTED: Spartanburg Methodist will retire the No. 11 of former Pioneers coach Tim Wallace in a ceremony during a March 28 doubleheader against Bryan at Mooneyham Field. Wallace was a former standout player at Wofford and longtime coach at SMC. He died last May after a months-long bout with cancer.
* Clemson transfer Tristan Bissetta has hit two home runs in a game twice in his first season at Ole Miss. He has 5 homers, a team-leading 19 RBI and a .444 batting average. He has had two or more hits in 9 of 12 games. The Mann High product hit 10 homers in 87 games - including 58 starts - for the Tigers.
