* NCAA Division I: Tryston McCladdie's second homer of the game gave Clemson (19-9, 2-6 ACC) the lead in the seventh inning as the Tigers evened their series with Miami (20-7, 3-5) ... TJ Anderson's walk-off single capped a three-run comeback by The Citadel (11-13, 2-2 SoCon) as it took a series opener against Western Carolina (17-10, 2-2). Andrew Buffkin (2-0) allowed only a walk and struck out five in four innings of relief ... Jake Armsey's walk-off two-run double capped a USC Upstate (13-14, 4-3 Big South) rally from seven runs against UNC Asheville (13-13, 1-3) ... Brayden Gilley and Harrison Wilson combined on a four-hit shutout as Winthrop (19-7, 4-0 Big South) turned back Charleston Southern (17-8, 2-2) ... Ryan Lynch pitched out a bases-loaded jam in the eighth inning and No. 15 Coastal Carolina (18-7, 7-0 Sun Belt) held off Marshall (13-11, 5-2) ... Wofford transfer Daniel Jackson hit a grand slam as No. 7 Georgia  (21-6, 5-2 SEC) beat South Carolina (13-14, 1-6). Patrick Evans had three hits and Luke Yuhasz had two for Carolina, which outhit the Dogs 9-4 ... Wofford (17-9, 1-0 SoCon) withstood a three-run ninth inning by UNC Greensboro (12-15, 1-3) to win its conference opener ... Caden Mason scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch in the sixth inning and Bo Moody added a two-run single as Presbyterian (5-22) turned back Samford (10-14) ... Campbell (16-9, 9-1 CAA) scored four runs in the sixth and three in the eighth to overtake College of Charleston (10-15, 5-5).

* Conference Carolinas: CJ Dean led off the 10th inning with a home run as North Greenville (26-7, 15-4) took the series opener at Ferrum (12-14, 7-12). The Panthers sent the game to extra innings on a ninth-inning wild pitch ... Mason McManus had four hits and drove in eight runs as Erskine (15-19, 10-9) handed Chowan (3-20, 3-16) its 12th straight loss ... Cole Kirschner was 4-for-4 with a walk and 4 RBI as Southern Wesleyan (11-22, 5-14) steamrolled Emmanuel (14-17, 10-12) ... Mac James' three-run homer in the fifth inning lifted Mount Olive (15-15, 9-10) over Francis Marion (15-4, 25-7).  Charlie Bussey III and Ethan McAnally homered and drove in two runs for the Patriots.

* Peach Belt Conference: Lander (18-14, 11-8) scored five runs in the third inning and withstood a comeback bid by Georgia Southwestern (18-15, 11-5) ... Terry Dean's two-run double in a six-run seventh-inning gave USC Beaufort (7-23, 2-17) the lead and the Sand Sharks held off Columbus State (18-10, 11-5) ... USC Aiken (23-9, 11-5) salted away its run-rule win over Claflin (3-21, 0-16) with a 10-run sixth. The Panthers have lost 19 straight games.

* South Atlantic Conference: Luke Floyd's two-run homer broke a tie in the eighth inning and Aiden Gibson had four hits and four RBI as Carson-Newman (18-12, 9-10) won a series opener against Newberry (19-13, 13-6) ... Mars Hill (14-17-1, 10-8-1) scored four runs in the sixth inning - three on Terick Bumgarner's double - and held on to top Anderson (17-15, 5-14) in the first game of the series ... First-place Catawba (24-6, 16-3) scored eight runs in the fourth and seven in the seventh to run-rule Coker (7-23, 6-13), which has lost six straight games.

* Other: Jaden Johnson singled in Daren Drayton in the bottom of  the seventh inning to give Voorhees (6-17, 5-7 HBCUAC) a win over Rust (8-21, 5-6) in Game 1 of a sweep ... Cole Fowler's grand slam capped a five-run 12th inning as Pikeville (16-11, 8-8 AAC) took the series opener against Columbia International (11-21, 9-9). A couple of run-scoring wild pitches and a bases-loaded walk staked the Rams to a three-run lead in the top of the 12th ... A four-run eighth powered Bryan (15-16, 8-7 AAC) to victory over Spartanburg Methodist (16-15, 9-7).

* ACC:
 No. 3 Georgia Tech downed No. 14 N.C. State, 3-1 ... Boston College upended No. 9 Virginia, 5-3 ... No. 10 Florida State was held to four hits, but beat Duke, 3-1 ... Pitt beat Louisville, 4-3 ... Stanford defeated Virginia Tech, 9-7 ... North Carolina and Notre Dame were rained out.

* SEC: Florida whipped No. 4 Arkansas, 9-4 ... No. 6 Mississippi State beat rival No. 18 Ole Miss, 5-4, with two runs in the ninth inning ... Vanderbilt was a 3-2 walk-off winner over No. 21 Tennessee in 10 innings ... No. 2 Texas clinched a series win over No 8. Oklahoma with a 10-inning 4-3 walk-off win ...Alabama pounded No. 5 Auburn, 11-1 ...No. 19 Kentucky won at LSU, 7-4 ... No. 25 Texas A&M was an 11-9 victor at Missouri.

* D1Baseball.com Top 25: No. 1 UCLA beat Iowa, 5-2 ... No. 11 Southern Miss beat Appalachian, 6-5, on the strength of a four-run eighth inning.

* Elsewhere:  High Point dumped Gardner-Webb, 10-3 ... Hofstra surprised Northeastern, 5-4, in 11 innings ... East Tennessee State nipped VMI, 6-5.
