* NCAA Division I:
Ross Norman pitched a three-hit shutout and Dean Mihos and Trace Mazon homered as Coastal Carolina (15-7, 2-0 Sun Belt) run-ruled James Madison (11-10, 3-2). Four Chanticleers had two hits apiece ... No. 4 Arkansas (18-6, 4-1 SEC) scored the tying run on a bad throw to first on the potential game-ending out and went on to hand South Carolina (12-12, 0-5) its seventh straight loss. Beau Hollins' double and Tyler Bak's single gave USC a 2-1 lead in the seventh inning. In the ninth, a walk, a passed ball and a groundout got the Arkansas runner to third base with two out. Gamecocks shortstop KJ Scobey fielded a grounder, but his errant throw let the tying run score. It was Carolina's first game under interim coach Monte Lee after Paul Mainieri stepped down earlier in the day ... Notre Dame (13-6, 5-3 ACC) clinched a series win over Clemson (18-6, 1-4) by scoring an unearned in the bottom of the ninth. With the bases loaded and one out, Tyler Lichtenberger fielded a Parker Brzustewicz grounder to short and threw home for a force out. But catcher Nate Savoie's throw to first for the potential third out hit Brzustewicz, allowing the winning run to score. Clemson twice rallied from three runs down and took a 7-5 lead before Notre Dame's Jayce Lee hit a two-run homer in the eighth to tie it ... Winthrop (16-7) scored the game's finale three runs to get a series win at Sacramento State (9-15). Josh Skowronski and Corey Wouters drove in three runs apiece for the Eagles ... Logan Tribble had three hits and drove in five runs as Wofford (15-9) evened its series at Xavier (7-17) ... Frank Kelly's two-run double in the fifth inning broke a tie and High Point (13-9, 3-2 Big South)  held on to beat Presbyterian (4-20, 2-3) ... Matt Ilgenfritz gave Gardner-Webb (13-10, 3-2 Big South) the lead with a three-homer in the seventh inning as the Bulldogs evened their series with Charleston Southern (15-7, 1-1) ... Lucas Johnson's RBI double in the 10th gave Longwood (16-7, 2-3 Big South) a walk-off victory over USC Upstate (12-12, 3-2) ... One day after being held to one hit, The Citadel (8-13, 0-2 SoCon) was checked on three hits in a loss to Mercer (20-3, 2-0). Braydon Kersey hit three homers for the Bears ... UNCW (16-7, 5-0 CAA) put together 4 two-run innings to clinch a series win at College of Charleston (9-13, 4-4).  

* Appalachian Athletic Conference:
 Spartanburg Methodist (16-13, 9-6) scored all seven runs in the seventh inning of a Game 1 win, then held off a Bluefield (6-17, 0-11) rally in Game 2 to complete a series sweep  Elijah Franz had five hits and drove in three runs for SMC ... Columbia International's (11-20, 9-8) four-run eighth was the margin of victory against No. 9 Tennessee Wesleyan (24-9, 12-3) in Game 1, but the Bulldogs won Game 2 to claim the series.

* Conference Carolinas:
 North Greenville (25-6, 14-4) scored the final four runs of Game 1 - the go-ahead run coming on a wild pitch - and completed the series sweep in a rain-shortened Game 2 at Southern Wesleyan (9-22, 4-14). Josh Foulks homered in both games and drove in five runs for the Trailblazers ... Francis Marion (24-6, 15-3) rapped out 41 hits in a sweep at Emmanuel (13-16, 10-11) ... Pierce Radke singled twice and doubled twice to drive in five runs in Game 2 as Erskine (13-19, 9-9) salvaged the series finale against Mount Olive (13-13, 8-10). The Trojans scored five runs in the seventh inning to take Game 1.

* Peach Belt Conference: Georgia Southwestern (18-13, 11-4) had scoring innings of 9, 11 and 8 runs in Game 1 and another nine-spot in the nightcap of a sweep of Claflin (3-20, 0-15). Nehemiah Drew had six hits for the Panthers, who have lost 18 straight ... USC Aiken (21-8, 10-4) scored nine runs in the fifth inning and coasted to a series-clinching run-rule win at USC Beaufort (5-23, 0-17) ... Columbus State (16-9, 10-4) scored four runs in the eighth inning to beat Lander (16-13, 10-7) for the second straight day.

* South Atlantic Conference: Newberry (18-12, 13-5) used a four-run sixth-inning in Game 1 to even its series with Lincoln Memorial (19-11, 12-6), but the Railsplitters took the nightcap in 10 innings to claim the rubber game ... Lenoir-Rhyne (21-5-1, 13-4-1) completed a series sweep of Coker (7-21, 6-12) by scoring in double figures in both games ... Emory & Henry (8-19, 5-13) pulled even with Anderson (17-13, 5-13) in the standings with a pair of double-digit scoring performances. The Trojans committed nine errors.

* NJCAA Region 10: Jake Little drove in eight runs as Florence-Darlington Tech (28-6, 9-3) swept USC Union (17-13, 3-7) ... Ryan Piekutoski hit three home runs as USC Sumter (20-10, 8-5) swept USC Salkehatchie (3-29, 1-12) ... First-place Gaston College (31-2, 12-2) took a pair of lopsided wins over USC Lancaster (17-14, 4-9).

* Other: Henry Rumble tripled, homered twice and drove in four runs in Game 2 as Bob Jones (7-13) snapped a six-game losing streak with a sweep of l Paine. Tillman Padgett and Makenzie Ritter pitched complete games for the Bruins ... Benedict (11-8, 9-8 SIAC) had a big offensive day in Game 1, but lost a pitchers' duel to LeMoyne-Owen (11-20, 5-14) in the nightcap ... Morris (3-11) split a pair of one-run decisions with Johnson & Wales (3-15).

* ACC:
No. 11 Florida State evened its series with No. 10 N.C. State, 11-5 ... Louisville pulled even with No. 14 North Carolina with a 2-0 shutout ... Pitt outscored No. 3 Georgia Tech, 14-9 ... No. 24 Wake Forest drew even in its series at No. 9 Virginia, 13-4 ... Boston College beat Cal again, 9-6 ...Duke evened its series at Virginia Tech, 8-6 ... Stanford edged Utah Valley, 4-3 Miami hammered Creighton, 11-1.

* SEC: No. 2 Texas snapped No. 5 Auburn's 12-game winning streak, 7-6, by escaping a bases-loaded jam in the ninth ... Ole Miss took the rubber game of a series with No. 15 Kentucky, 12-9 ... Alabama beat No. 18 Florida for the second straight day, 8-4 ... No. 8 Oklahoma won the rubber game at LSU, 4-3 ... No. 7 Georgia clinched a series win at No. 23 Texas A&M, 8-2 ... No. 6 Mississippi State took a series win against Vanderbilt, 7-2 ... No. 22 Tennessee evened its series with Missouri, 4-2.

* D1Baseball.com Top 25: Texas State clinched a Sun Belt series win over No. 24 Louisiana, 11-4.

* Other: Elon knocked off Northeastern, 3-2, in the CAA ... East Tennessee State evened its SoCon series at UNC Greensboro, 8-2 ... Western  Carolina drew even with Samford in that SoCon series, 11-9 ... Marshall clinched a Sun Belt series win at Georgia Southern, 13-5 ... Wingate and Catawba split a SAC DH ... The Bulldogs won Game 1, 12-10 and the Indians took Game 2, 16-1 ... Young Harris completed a Conference Carolinas sweep of UNC Pembroke, 4-2 and 15-2 ... Belmont Abbey swept King  6-0, and 9-1 ... Peach Belt Conference leader North Georgia beat Flagler, 10-7, to even that series.
