* Briefly: Tyler Lichtenberger had  three hits and 5 two-out RBI as Clemson (18-4) turned back The Citadel (8-11). Tigers pitchers struck out 10 Bulldogs. Garrett Fulmer singled, doubled and drove in a run for The Citadel ... Henry Zenor and Jake Armsey had RBI singles in the ninth inning as USC Upstate (11-11) rallied from five runs down to beat Charlotte (14-7). Maloy Heaghney singled and homered to drive in six runs for Upstate, which survived making four errors. The Spartans had 16 hits. Upstate's Johnny Sweeney left the game with an injury ... Connor McKee's two-out single in the ninth inning provided the margin of victory for North Greenville (22-6) against North Georgia (23-6) in a meeting of Division II powers. Matthew Heard struck out 13 for the Nighthawks ... Mike Murphy's single to center field gave Campbell (11-9) a walk-off win over No. 16 Coastal Carolina (13-7), snapping the Chanticleers' four-game winning streak. Trace Mazon got Coastal's only hit ... Cole Thomas pitched four innings of shutout relief as USC Beaufort (5-21) snapped as 12-game losing streak at the expense of Embry-Riddle (10-10). Andrews singled, doubled, scored a run and drove in one for the Sand Sharks, who broke a 2-2 tie with a pair of unearned runs in the fifth ...Tanner Beckley and Pat Costin drove in three runs each as Florence-Darlington Tech (26-6) handled Robeson CC (7-17) ... Blake Martin's three-run double in the first inning gave USC Aiken (19-8) all the runs it would need to win over Newberry (17-10) ... Carew Bates and Ryan Piekutoski homered in both games as USC Sumter (18-10) split a pair with Brunswick CC (19-6). Bates had four hits and Piekutoski had three ... USC Union (17-11) tied Game 2 on a bases-loaded walk and Markus Kirksey was hit by pitch with the bases loaded as the Bantams completed a sweep of the Erskine JV team. Kirksey was 4-for-6 with two doubles, a walk, two runs scored and three RBI ... Cade Kalehuawehe homered and drove in three runs as Milligan (22-6) shut out Spartanburg Methodist (13-13) on three hits ... South Georgia (20-14) held USC Salkehatchie (3-27) to three hits in a doubleheader sweep. The Indians have lost 13 straight games.
