* Briefly: Christian Stratis doubled and tripled to drive in three runs as The Citadel (10-13) came from behind to beat Presbyterian (4-22). Bulldogs pitchers struck out 16. Nick Smith and Jonathan Williams had two-run homers for the Blue Hose ... Camden Crosby (4 innings, 8 strikeouts) and Bryson Williams (1, 3) combined on a no-hitter in Game 1 as USC Union (19-14) swept Denmark Tech (1-10). Robbie Murphy drove in four runs and five teammates drove in three apiece in the nightcap. According  to my information, it was Tech's first action since March 3 ... Morris (6-11) rallied from seven runs down to beat Bob Jones (7-16) in Game 1 and Adrian Quinones' three-run homer capped a six-run outburst in the final at-bat of the nightcap to complete a sweep. The Hornets have won three straight. Mannix Crawford had three RBI and Jake Highsmith had a two-run homer for the Bruins in the opener ... Five pitchers combined for a one-hitter a Florence-Darlington Tech (31-6) shut out the Francis Marion JV in Game 1 and the Stingers won Game 2 to stretch their winning streak to seven games. BJ Balls had four hits and five RBI in the twinbill ... Evan Harding had a single and two doubles and Salvatore Laimo drove in two runs as USC Aiken (22-9) won the Battle for the Paddle over Augusta (15-16) at SRP park in North Augusta ...Jack Myers had three singles and drove in two runs as Georgia Southern (7-18) beat College of Charleston (10-14) to get its first road win over season. The Eagles' only other win away from Statesboro was over Clemson in Augusta earlier this month. The final 10 CofC batters were retired in order, starting with the bases loaded in the sixth ... Rockingham CC (16-9) handed USC Lancaster (17-16) its fourth straight loss.

* Beyond the border: Pitt edged Youngstown, 8-7 ... Boston College dumped Merrimack, 12-2 ... Troy topped Florida A&M 7-4 .... Lindenwood got its first win over Missouri in six tries, 10-4.
