* NCAA Division I: Michael Gibson got two of The Citadel's (20-21, 5-8 SoCon) three hits and pitched the final 2 1/3 innings of a series-opening win over UNC Greensboro (15-27, 2-11) ... South Carolina (21-22, 6-13 SEC) hit four home runs, but had to dance around eight walks, a hit batsman and three errors to take the series opener over Kentucky (26-14, 8-11). Ethan Lizama had a grand slam and Parker Marlatt stranded three Wildcats in the ninth for his first save ... Luke Jones (4-1) struck out six and allowed two hits in six shutout innings and No. 9 Coastal Carolina (29-12, 16-3 Sun Belt) took a series opener against Texas State (26-16, 9-10) ... Clemson (26-17, 6-13 ACC) committed five errors to help Louisville (24-18, 8-11) win the opener. The Cardinals broke open a one-run game with a five-run seventh, although Clemson did get the potential tying run on base in the ninth ... Cam Mallo's sacrifice fly gave Presbyterian (10-33, 6-10 Big South) a walk-off win over Radford (19-19, 7-9) ... Chris Katz's RBI single in the 11th inning gave Mercer (30-12, 5-5 SoCon) a walk-off win over first-place Wofford (30-12, 8-2). The Terriers, who had a nine-game winning streak snapped, took leads in the 10th and 11th innings, only to have the Bears answer. Katz hit a grand slam for Mercer in the seventh ... Titus Von Kapff (5-4) pitched into the eighth inning as Charleston Southern (23-17, 8-8 Big South) took Game 1 at UNC Asheville (16-26, 4-9) ... Campbell (27-14, 18-4 CAA) had four doubles and four homers to run-rule College of Charleston (20-21, 10-9) ... Three solo home runs and a complete game shutout by Oliver Ellison lifted Gardner-Webb (19-23, 7-9 Big South) over Winthrop (27-15, 10-3) ... Samford (22-19 put up crooked numbers in the first three innings of Game 1 and went on to sweep USC Upstate (19-25), extending the Spartans' losing streak to eight 

* Conference Carolinas: Skyler Hegler singled, doubled twice and homered to drive in five runs for North Greenville (42-7, 28-4) in Game 1 and the Trailblazers clinched the regular-season championship with a rout in Game 2 at Emmanuel (20-28, 15-17). The Trailblazers have won 17 straight games ... Charlie Bussey III's sixth-inning single broke a tie and Francis Marion (39-10, 26-6) held off King (13-35, 10-22) to open a doubleheader sweep ... Young Harris (35-14, 24-8) hit five home runs in Game 1 to beat Erskine (25-24, 19-13), but the Flying Fleet came back to take the nightcap ... Shorter (16-27, 7-24) dealt Southern Wesleyan's (15-33, 9-22) conference tournament hopes a blow in Game 1 of their series.

* Peach Belt Conference: Zach Cowart's 10th-inning double gave Lander (30-18) the lead and the Bearcats held on to beat St. Leo (22-21) in Game 1 and Oliver Zohn had three hits and scored the winning run on a seventh-inning wild pitch in Game 2 of a nonconference doubleheader. The Bearcats have won eight straight ... Regular-season champ North Georgia (37-11, 25-3) scored four runs in the ninth to force extra innings and went on to beat second-place USC Aiken (34-14, 19-9) ... Middle Georgia (17-31, 10-18) used a pair of big innings  to beat USC Beaufort (12-32, 4-24) ... Former USC Beaufort player Carson Phillips had four hits and drove in three runs as Georgia College (20-25, 12-16) run-ruled Claflin (4-34, 1-27). The Panthers have loss eight straight.

* South Atlantic Conference:  Matthew Lipcsey's two-run single in the ninth inning provided a walk-off win for Coker (13-32, 10-21) against Tusculum (16-31, 10-21). The Cobras trailed 7-0 after 2 1/2 innings ... Nick Foster doubled twice and drove in four runs as Newberry (26-23, 18-14) took Game 1 of 2 at Mars Hill (26-22-1, 19-12-1), but the Lions scored three runs in the fifth inning of the nightcap and gained a split ... Tanner McCammon hit two homers in Wingate's (33-15, 23-8) win over Anderson (23-24, 10-21).

* Other: Brady Jeffcoat and Lane Schrader hit two-run homers as Spartanburg Methodist (25-21, 16-10 AAC) took the opener, and Blake Exizian homered to break a tie in the seventh inning of Game 2 of a doubleheader at Montreat (30-19, 13-13). The Pioneers scored six runs in the sixth inning to tie the nightcap as they extended their winning streak to 6 ... Benedict (20-11, 18-11 SIAC) scored seven runs over the final three innings to take Game 1 of a doubleheader against Miles (20-21, 13-18) at Rickwood Field. Joshua Medina singled in the go-ahead run in the ninth inning. The host Golden Bears scored five runs in the first inning and claimed the nightcap

* ACC: Duke evened its series with No. 2 North Carolina, 3-1 ... No. 3. Georgia Tech held off  Wake Forest, 6-5 ... Stanford scored four runs in the fifth to top No. 8 Florida State, 4-3 ... Pitt edged No. 10 Virginia, 7-5 ... Notre Dame ripped No. 22 Boston College,12-2 ... Virginia Tech blanked N.C. State, 4-0 ... California blasted Miami, 9-2.
