* Briefly: Jeb Britt pitched a complete game as USC Sumter (34-18, 17-12 Region 10) run-ruled USC Salkehatchie (3-47, 1-28) to complete a sweep ... Jake Little drove in seven runs, Tristan Strickland drove in six and Jake Zehner knocked in five as Florence-Darlington Tech (46-10, 23-7 Region 10) swept USC Union (30-22, 10-18) ... Logan Busenlehner drove in five runs and Keillor Osbon added three hits and three RBI as Newberry (27-24, 19-14 SAC)  run-ruled Mars Hill (26-23-1, 19-11-1) ... Texas State (27-17, 10-11 Sun Belt)  avoided a sweep with a win over No. 9 Coastal Carolina (30-13, 17-4). There were positives for the Chants. Staff ace Cameron Flukey made his first start since missing a couple of months with an injury. He struck out four in two hitless innings ... Kentucky (27-15, 9-12 SEC) turned a stolen base and two throwing errors into the go-ahead run in the eighth inning as it foiled South Carolina's (22-23, 7-14) bid for its first conference home sweep ... Louisville (26-18, 10-11 ACC) got a two-run homer from Jimmy Nugent in the 10th inning to complete a series sweep of Clemson (26-19, 6-15). The Tigers had forced extra innings on Tryston McCladdie's two-out single in the ninth inning ... Charleston Southern (24-18, 9-9 Big South) scored six runs in the first inning and eight in the second inning of Game 2, but needed three runs in the 10th to split a doubleheader at UNC Asheville (17-27, 5-10) ... Jacob Budzik hit two of UNC Greensboro's (16-28, 3-12 SoCon) four homers and the Spartans avoided a sweep at The Citadel (21-22, 6-9). Budzik drove in five runs ... Mercer (32-12, 7-5 SoCon) had another big offensive day to complete a sweep of Wofford (30-14, 8-4). The Terriers outhit the Bears, 15-12, and socked four home runs ... Merik Carter singled in the bottom of the 10th to give Gardner-Webb (20-24, 8-10 Big South) a walk-off win and series victory over Winthrop (28-16, 11-4) ... Joey Morton's two-run homer in the third inning helped Campbell (29-14, 20-4 CAA) complete a series sweep at College of Charleston (20-23, 10-11) ... Radford (21-19, 9-9 Big South) scored four runs in the ninth and held on for a series win over Presbyterian (10-35, 6-12) ... Samford (23-19) scored four runs in the sixth to complete a series sweep of USC Upstate (19-26) ... North Georgia (38-12, 26-4 Peach Belt) scored six runs in the fourth inning and claimed the rubber game of a series at USC Aiken (35-15, 20-10).  The series loss dropped the Pacers into a three-way tie for second place and Lander won the tiebreaker for the second seed for the conference tournament and a first-round host spot ... Middle Georgia (19-31, 12-18 Peach Belt) scored the game's final six runs to complete a sweep of USC Beaufort (12-34, 4-26) ... USC Lancaster (22-26, 9-19) couldn't hold an early seven-run lead as Gaston College (50-3, 27-3) hit eight home runs for a run-rule win ... Wilberforce put up 12 runs in the third inning and eliminated Voorhees (11-23) from the HBCUAC Tournament.

* ACC: No. 3 Georgia Tech completed a sweep of Wake Forest, 6-5 ... Pitt wrapped up a sweep of No. 10 Virginia, 7-3 ... Stanford won a series over No. 8 Florida State, 7-4 ... No. 22 Boston College edged Notre Dame 7-6 ... Virginia Tech beat N.C. State, 5-4  ... Miami took the rubber game against Cal, 4-1.
