 UNC Wilmington (22-18) scored two runs in the ninth inning to knock off No. 9 Coastal Carolina (28-12). Jordan Taylor's second-inning homer gave the Chants their only baserunner. In the Seahawks' ninth, the first four batters reached, tying the score, and a grounder to first resulted in a errant throw home to allow the winning run to score ... Luke Gaffney had a three-run homer in the first and a two-run single in the second as Clemson (26-16) used the early cushion to hand USC Upstate (19-23) its sixth straight loss ... South Carolina (20-22) got seven RBI from the bottom four batters in the lineup and Gamecocks pitchers struck out 13 in a come-from-behind win over Presbyterian (9-33). Ethan Lizama, KJ Scobey and Luke Yuhasz all homered and drove in two runs. Matthew Rollison's homer gave PC an early 2-0 lead ... Spartanburg Methodist (23-21) scored five unearned runs in the eighth inning to knock off NAIA power Georgia Gwinnett (40-6). The Pioneers had been outscored by the Grizzlies 51-8 in a three-game sweep earlier in the season ... Donovan Glisson's third hit of the game broke a ninth-inning tie and USC Aiken (34-13) held on to beat No. 8 Francis Marion (37-10) ... Dylan Johnson had four hits and drove in two runs as College of Charleston (20-20) topped Charleston Southern (22-17) ... Ben Timblin doubled and homered to drive in three runs as Wofford (30-11) run-ruled Queens (12-28) to extend its winning streak to nine games. It was the Terriers' fourth-consecutive run-rule win ... Cooper Raines capped a three-run eighth inning with an RBI double and Newberry (25-22) snapped a five-game losing streak by beating Mount Olive (26-19) at CarolinaBank Field in Florence. Zane McClendon had tied the game with a two-run double earlier in the eighth. Mount Olive had a seven-game winning streak snapped ... Oliver Zohn's RBI groundout in the 12th inning gave Lander (28-18) a win over nationally ranked Wingate (32-15). It was the Bearcats sixth straight win ... Elon (17-23) scored seven runs - five unearned - in the eighth inning to overtake Winthrop (27-14) ... Braeden Harrison had four hits and drove in a run as Anderson (23-23) took care of Southern Wesleyan (15-32) ... Jake Streeter broke a tie with a two-run homer in the eighth as North Georgia (36-11) held off Erskine (24-23) ... Morehouse  (20-18) scored eight runs in the seventh and five in the eighth to twice rally past Morris (9-16). Dylan Levy had a single, a solo homer and a grand slam for the Hornets. A scheduled second game was canceled.
