* NCAA Division I:
 Tryston McCladdie and Jarren Purify had RBI singles in the eighth inning as Clemson (28-20, 8-16 ACC) rallied past No. 20 Boston College (35-16, 17-10). Purify's last hit before Sunday was at The Citadel March 18 ... Andrew Buffkin and two relievers combined on a one-hitter as The Citadel (25-22) shut out Presbyterian (10-38) in Game 1, then Bulldogs won the nightcap in spite of being held hitless until the seventh inning ... Jackson Winer doubled and homered to drive in four runs as No. 9 Coastal Carolina (33-14, 19-5 Sun Belt) took Game 1 of a doubleheader at Georgia  Southern (14-34, 6-18). The Eagles had a pair of three-run innings early in the nightcap to earn the split ... Trey Bentley, Johnny Sweeney and Henry Zenor had three hits apiece and USC Upstate (22-26, 11-10 Big South) completed a sweep of Gardner-Webb (22-27, 8-13) with a run-rule win ... Carson Bryant (2-3) struck out seven in seven innings and Parker Sweeney added five in two innings to lead College of Charleston (22-24, 12-12 CAA) over UNCW (26-20, 14-10) to claim a series win ... LSU (28-21, 9-15 SEC) completed a sweep of South Carolina (22-27, 7-17) with a shutout win to tighten South Carolina's hold on 15th place in the standings. Wofford transfer struck out seven in six inning of two-hit pitching for the Tigers. USC has lost five straight games since reaching .500 ... Both teams had five hits and benefited from three opponent errors, but UNC Asheville (18-30, 6-12) did more with so little, shutting out Winthrop (30-18, 13-5) to salvage the series finale. Cooper Smith struck out nine in a complete game for UNCA ... Western Carolina (31-17, 12-6 SoCon) scored five runs in the fourth inning and withstood a three-run ninth by Wofford (31-17, 9-6) to take the rubber game of the series.

* Conference Carolinas: Thomas Powell drove in three runs and Josh Foulks had three hits as North Greenville (47-9) topped Young Harris (38-16) to force a winner-take-all game at 1 p.m. Monday. Earlier in the day, Foulks and Lane McGaha homered as North Greenville eliminated Belmont Abbey. 

* Peach Belt Conference: Columbus State (30-21) snapped Lander's (33-19) 11-game winning streak and forced a winner-take-all game at 3 p.m. Monday in the Greenwood bracket. Earlier in the day, Columbus State eliminated USC Aiken (36-17) ... In Dahlonega, North Georgia run-ruled Flagler to advance to the championship series on its home field next weekend.

* Region 10: Florence-Darlington Tech (48-10) advanced to Monday's championship round with a win over top seed Gaston College. The Stingers ended Gaston College's 18-game winning streak and picked up their third win in seven meetings with the Rhinos this season. After USC Union eliminated USC Lancaster (24-28) to earn the right to play Gaston College for a spot in the title game, the Rhinos (53-4) run-ruled the Bantams (32-24).

* South Atlantic Conference: Former Spartanburg Methodist pitcher Kemper Nix struck out 13 in 6 2/3 innings for Catawba (41-9) as it run-ruled Coker (17-34) to advance to the championship series next week in Asheboro, N.C. Nathan Chrismon had three hits and drove in five for the Indians ... Former Clemson player Lleyton Lackey doubled and homered to drive in five runs and Lenoir-Rhyne (37-12-1) eliminated Newberry (28-25). The Bears then lost to Wingate, which advanced to the championship series.

* Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference:  Benedict (23-16) got the potential tying run to the plate in the ninth inning before being eliminated by Morehouse.  Cameron Haley homered and drove two runs for Benedict. The Tigers had an early 10-3 lead before Morehouse put up right runs in the fifth ...  Earlier in the day, Benedict took the lead with six runs in the sixth inning and held on to eliminate Savannah State (27-20). Haley doubled, hit two home runs, walked, scored three runs and drove in three for the victors.

* ACC:
No. 14 Florida State beat Pitt, 6-4 ... Notre Dame outslugged Stanford, 18-13 ... California beat Virginia Tech, 9-4 ... No. 2 North Carolina beat Duke in a game that did not count in the ACC standings, 13-0 ... No. 23 Virginia swept Radford, 11-1 and 14-5 ... No. 3 Georgia Tech beat Xavier, 14-6.
* ACC standings: Georgia Tech 19-5; North Carolina 17-7; Boston College 17-10; Florida State 15-9; Miami 13-11; Wake Forest 14-13; Virginia 12-12;  N.C. State 12-12; Virginia Tech 13-14; Pitt 10-14; Stanford 10-14;  Louisville 10-14; Notre Dame 11-16; Duke 9-15; Clemson 8-16; California 8-16.

* SEC: No. 5 Georgia completed a sweep of Missouri, 14-4 ... No. 7 Texas A&M salvaged the series finale with No. 8 Auburn, 4-3 ... No. 4 Texas beat No. 10 Mississippi State, 11-6 ... No. 25 Florida run-ruled No. 15 Oklahoma, 12-2 ... No. 22 Arkansas edged No. 17 Ole Miss, 5-4 ... Tennessee avoided a sweep at Kentucky, 10-9.
