* Florida State 2, Coastal Carolina 1 - Trey Beard struck out nine batters in four innings and the Seminoles (39-18) held off the Chanticleers (37-23) to avoid a two-and-out on their own field by eliminating the Chanticleers. The game was suspended by rain in the sixth inning on Saturday, and there was no additional scoring on Sunday. Coastal was held to three hits - two of them by Trace Mazon. The Chanticleers struck out 18 times.
