* SEC Tournament: The worst season in South Carolina (22-35) history ended in fitting fashion: another loss. The 13th consecutive loss came to Tennessee (38-19) and included shaky defense, ineffective pitching, too many strikeouts and an inability to shut down opponent in the next inning on the rare occasion when the Gamecocks did score.
