    First baseman Preston Shuey and catcher Jared Barkdoll of Francis Marion and USC Aiken second baseman Ken Raborn were selected to the preseason All-Peach Belt Conference team as voted on by league sports information directors.

  • USC posts rosterThe University of South Carolina has finally posted its 2009 roster. At least eight players from last year's roster with eligibilty remaining aren't on the squad. The most notable name may be Adam Crisp. I'd heard of three of the eight who had either transferred or announced plans to transfer. As a poster in the comments points out, five more cuts are needed to reach the 35-player limit.
