The ACC has posted its composite 2009 schedule.
Newberry picked 6th in SACNewberry is picked to finish sixth in the South Atlantic Conference this season in the coaches' preseason poll. Tusculum is picked to win. The Indians' Phillip Bartz is a second-team preseason all-conference selection.
USC suite packages for saleFor all the folks out there with more dollars than sense, the University of South Carolina is selling suite packages for the season. Packages range from $1,000 to $35,000 -- plus the price of tickets, of course.
Wofford Adds 6 players
Wofford College has signed three players for the 2010 season and received commitments from three others. Included are Southside Christian infielder Ben Giddens, Belton-Honea Path pitcher Matt Moore, North Augusta outfielder Taylor Rozier, Spartanburg pitcher Ryan Traylor and Landrum pitcher Alex Wilson.
