  • College Baseball talk on XM/Sirius
Rivals.Com's Kendall Rogers reports that beginning Feb. 11 his weekly college baseball radio talk show will air at 9 a.m. eastern time each Wednesday on XM (channel 143) and Sirius (channel 122) satellite radio. It also will be available at rivalsradio.com. My only regret is that it's on before I usually get up. As an aside, I highly recommend XM for MLB fans. It broadcasts EVERY game live, usually using the home team radio announcers.

  • ACC flavor
Baseball America picks Florida Southern to finish fifth in NCAA Division II this season. The Moccasins have picked up a couple of transfers from ACC schools: Junior left-handed pitcher Matt Zoltak went 4-0 with a 6.30 ERA in 20 appearances and 30 innings at Clemson last season. Senior infielder/catcher Nick Stanley batted .305 at N.C. State in 51 games, 30 of them as a starter, in 2008.
