More Clemson games on ACC Select
As I suspected, games are being added to the ACC Select subscription video schedule. In addition to the six Clemson games announced earlier, the Tigers April 8 home game against USC, a second game of the UNC road series, a home game against Miami, a home game against College of Charleston, a road game against N.C. State, two road games against Virginia Tech and complete three-game home series against Maryland, Georgia Tech and UNC-Wilmington are now listed. I count 22 Clemson games on the package. Games are available at $4.95 per game of 29.95 for the entire spring package.

  • USC feed to be improved
South Carolina is planning to have its video feed linked to the in-stadium scoreboard feed, so a more sophisticated broadcast -- it sounds like including replays -- will be available for its subscription video service for home games. It past years it was a plain one-camera effort with no replays and no graphics.
Here's what a USC official said in an e-mail to me:

(W)ith audio of the baseball games, the radio broadcast is tied in with the video board feed that we stream for All-Access. Most home games we can stream video on a live basis except when they are on TV and on Saturday’s between 4-7 when playing a conference opponent. A Saturday SEC game can only be shown live if we were to start the game at either 1 or 7 to avoid falling in the league’s protected TV window. If we cannot stream video live for a home game, an audio link would be available. For road games, we will always have the audio broadcast available.

USC's plan costs $9.95 per month or $89.95 per calendar year. Additionally, a CBS College Sports yearly package, with games from many schools and many sports, is $119.95.
