Coastal has quite a day
Coastal Carolina set a school record for runs scored and margin of victory in Sunday's 36-3 win over Stony Brook in the Caravelle Resort Classic. Thirteen different Chanticleers players drove in at least two runs. Coastal had innings of 8, 11 and 10 runs.

  • Michigan State visits Upstate
Just a reminder to Upstate baseball fans that in addition to a game at Clemson Tuesday and at Greenville's Fluor Field against the Tigers on Wednesday, Michigan State has four more games scheduled for Fluor Field this coming weekend: 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday against Quinnipiac, and 3:30 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday against Xavier. In addition, Xavier will play Quinnipiac at noon Saturday at Fluor Field. When these games were announced Greenville Drive officials announced admission to all Saturday games would be free. I've seen no indication that has changed.
